Most of us find it easy to set goals for the New Year. Following through with them, however, can be a different story. For me, 2020 was a year of reflection. That extra time to myself helped me find the ability to become more intentional with the things that I want in life in those precious moments of stillness. This holds the same value when focusing on our goals for the New Year.
If you truly want something, you’re certainly capable of obtaining it. But you must set your intention for each day and maybe even, on occasion, each moment. Being intentional allows you to weed out the less important things in life, which gives you more time to focus on what truly matters to you!
Here are a few ways I practice bringing intention into my daily life:
Be Happy: Releasing things that don’t make you happy and bearing forgiveness allows you to clear your mind and focus on what you really want to receive.
Catch some Zs: Sleep is more important than you think. We often overlook the fact that we all need ample rest to function at our highest mental and physical level.
Have the athlete mentality: To me, this means having the mentality to win!
If you find that you need some help setting your intentions for a healthier lifestyle, we would love the chance to work with you and help you achieve your goals for the new year. Call us 502-618-0995 to learn more about all the ways we can partner with you on your wellness journey.
